Dorothy shot a fantastic 17 Points in the Tuesday Ladies 9 hole competition. This finish is Dorothy’s best ever result with the round including a gross par on the 6th which is 109yrd par 3. This gave dorothy a staggering 5 stableford points in one hole, off her 36 handicap! This is Dorothy’s first year of playing in the ladies competitions and to have finished second in an event is a fantastic achievement for a new golfer.
Dorothy has only been playing for around a year and a half after giving up a long and successful competitive bowling career. Dorothy got hooked on golf and has been a regular student of mine over the past year, getting involved in all of my Ladies Night Group evenings before starting a course of private lessons. Since then her golf has really taken off and she is a regular face amongst the ladies on a Tuesday morning!
