This weeks tip comes from one of my favourite drills I’ve already written about,the hit and walk drill! This drill is designed to increase your ability to transfer weight through the ball.
Well theres no greater need for getting your weight forward than when getting out of a bunker!
One of the biggest faults I see is the weight falling back when playing a bunker shot. So my suggestion is simple, practice hitting some bunker shots walking forward through the shot.
I guarantee that this will increase your ability to strike the sand in the right place helping you with consistency and distance control.
So why not have a go, walk through your bunker shots to get up and down and see your scores improve.
